cover to Static Shock #2, by and myself. first crack, still shaking off rust- been a while since i drew superheroes and havent quite got a handle on his costume. Jedi Master Keron Grant did a great Static piece here [link] , where he mentioned using the fibonacci sequence. when editorial asked for these light bikes to be like tron, i thought bending the light trails would be one way to help differentiate from tron, Kerons use of the sequence came to mind. big thankyou to people who've been commenting on other drawrings, have fallen behind on that a bit, as well as seeing what everyone else's been up to. no excuse, am just horrible at multitasking, hopefully can make the rounds this afternoon. have a good un.
Betcha a nickel, Jaden Smith plays Static on screen next summer.
That's Cool Chris. Been Playing with the golden ratio a lot lately. I realize it's the the concept of growth or natural rhythm that happens everywhere and in everything. Simplest way of explaining is that it's the equation of nature.
a very nice touch to a classic
I don't like the art or the new costume! Static looks lame here! They can do a better job than this! It's 2011 and the black super hero comic books are still lacking!
