a warm up of Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks, she's a force of nature. mistakes were made.
impressive it really looks like her, love it
What a great hommage to a great show. You caught the spirit of the character so well. Remember what she could do with a cherry stalk? They are using that trick in that Dr Pepper Cherry commercial these days...
The colors in the skirt and desk are just great! Nice markering.
Nicely drawn as always.
Oh! Man, this lovely. Twin Peaks and Audrey Horne are subjects we obviously both have an admiration for.
hey Henry, didnt know, but shouldve suspected, she has that classic retro-glamour thing happening. and the mole!
Dude! you nailed it! i'm a huge twin peaks fan, even more so Sherilyn fenn!
thanks Chris! yeah, i once sat through a horrible Sherilyn Fenn/Jeremy Piven movie just for her mole
Hey man, how about saving that one for me.
done! pssh, you knew that already if it wasn't on shitty lil beat up typing paper, id hit you up for a trade. actually, ill be that tacky- you keep your roughs?
Beautiful. Is that done in watercolor or marker?
thankya! it's just prismacolor markers- im guessing it might read as watercolor cause there's a good deal of variance with each color. thats part cause ill go over some spots a bunch to get em dark, or they smear the ink, or some of em are kind of kicked juice-wise. and part is my scanner is reading the markers funny, the pink on her legs is much flatter than it is here.
nicely done. I can't believe it's markers it look so painterly.
heh, just working up the nerve to actually paint, like a real, you know, artist, instead of the kid tools.
I'm in the same boat right now. I've been looking at all the traditional paintings Imagination Studios posted. They're really inspiring to me and I want to paint again but like you I haven't worked up the nerve yet.
